I was recently lucky enough to visit Portugal for two weeks and explore the beautiful city of Porto. The city is draped in Portugese tiles, filled with cafes selling Portugese tarts and in the winter months you can find people selling roasted chestnuts on nearly every street corner.
There's nothing better than arriving in a new city full of artwork and new artists to discover, winding your way through the street never knowing what you'll find, and looking up to see a mural on the side of a building where you'd least expect it. It really does feel like there's art around every corner in Porto.
This post incluces photos of the amazing art I managed to find while I was exploring the city. Comment below if you've been to Portugal and seen any works by these artists.
Located in Vila Nova de Gaia, south of the river in Porto.
